School is back and our family, like many of yours, is settling into the busy fall routine of homework, soccer, music lessons, and trying to somehow find time to cook some home meals in between the carpooling and organized chaos of the modern family.  My parents, both teachers who raised my sister and I near Denny Park in a house that they built with an uncle and grandfather in 1962, can't believe how busy our family always seems. There are moments when I am jealous of the free time many of us had growing up with less structured schedules, but of course all of us are working hard to do the best we can for our children, just like our parents did for us. 

Thank you for sharing your stories and lives with us here at Snapdoodle and for so many of you treating us like family in this supportive Northshore community.
